Nike Prepares The Zoom Vomero 5 For A Monochrome “University Blue” Treatment

Clad color palettes have been the latest installation amidst Nike’s return to 2000s runners. While the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 has seen its fair amount of tonal treatments with a few white accents and slight variances in hue, its latest composition sticks solely to one singular color; “University Blue”.

Continuing the Chapel Hill-synonymous shade’s dominance through 2024, the low-top mesh dominant silhouette acts in a similar vein as its “Triple-Black” effort from September. Imbued with monochromatic fervor, the entirety of the model is doused in the spring-ready light blue. From the TPU caging at the mid-foot and heel to the sole unit, leather overlays and mesh base layer, the “University Blue” tint stretches from vamp to heel curing every single textile and panel in sight. The only appearance of an opposing color appears within the insole’s greyscale Bill Bowerman logos while reflective 3M detailing remains hidden until it meets the right lighting conditions.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “University Blue” below while we await further release details.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Kobe 6 “Reverse Grinch” arrives on December 15th.
