Nylon Uppers Make The Nike Air Force 1 Wild Ready For Outdoor Exploration

The Air Force 1 Wild continues to live up to its name.

Nylon Uppers Make The Nike Air Force 1 Wild Ready For Outdoor Exploration

Nike’s latest design theme for the Air Force 1 Wild is perfectly aligned with the inspiration behind the model. Engineered for outdoor exploration, the womens-exclusive AF1 Wild has been spotted in multiple colorways featuring rugged nylon mesh commonly used on hiking and outdoor gear.

Just like upcoming purple and tan pairs, this “Phantom” colorway is defined by its nylon overlays that encompass the entirety of the upper aside from the base layer, which is constructed of mesh. Down below, the textural elements of the nylon are continued via a checkered midsole akin to the pattern seen on the Air Humara. Adding to the shoe’s utilitarian function are black rope laces and a pull tab on the tongue, completing the design theme on this pair.

Enjoy official images below as we await further release information from the folks over at Nike.

In the meantime, check out the upcoming Air Force 1 Next Nature featuring molten metal accessories.
