The New Balance 1906R Touches Down In Reflective Blue And Purple

Matching the aesthetic of a previously unveiled "Metallic Teal" pair.

The New Balance 1906R Touches Down In Reflective Blue And Purple

Recent collaborative efforts and well-executed inline drops have solidified the New Balance 1906R as a top choice on shelves crowded with retro-inspired runners. While still thriving off Salehe Bembury’s “Heat Be Hot” pack and a variety of Action Bronson inventions, the Boston brand strikes with a new general release 1906R featuring vibrant shades of blue and purple.

This latest iteration is set to release alongside a similarly treated Metallic Teal 1906R that exudes the same aesthetic, albeit with a slightly different palette. Shiny blue overlays make their way onto this pair, matched with purple TPU accents on the heel, forefoot, and New Balance logo. A reflective silver toecap adds to the design, matched by more silver and grey coloring on the sole unit and lining up top. Underfoot, the shoe calls in a subtle yet impactful pop of yellow towards the heel, breaking from the palette to complete the delivery.

New Balance’s latest 1906R is slated to hit shelves within the coming months for $155. Enjoy detailed images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page as we follow the latest drop information.
