Chili Comes To A Red Hot Nike Air Max Plus

The upcoming men's release takes a page from the Air Max archives.

Chili Comes To A Red Hot Nike Air Max Plus

While their younger siblings in the Nike Air Max Plus Drift have taken up much of the space on the 2024 release calendar, the Nike Air Max Plus proper is ensuring it stays just as relevant. The latest variation is just as retro as it is forward facing with its “White/Black/Red” stylings.

A very frequent choice for Nike offerings given the titanic influence of the Chicago Bulls, that palette instantly evokes the “Chili” Air Max 1 in the context of this product line. The black and red that sneaker boldly wore is here utilized primarily in a bottom to top gradient on the spindly raised fibers on the side.

Elsewhere, that fiery shade crops on the “Tn Air” heel text and interrupting a midnight sole. Though the glossy leather on the toe box and heel mark many Plus releases, here it’s given space to (literally) shine. The white dominant accents elsewhere on the upper instead draw the eye to those reflective qualities.

With the end of March reserved for Air Max week, we can safely say that this pair of Pluses should be available in short order, rolling out in the space between now and then. These hold their traditional price of $175, and will hit stores in a full men’s size run.

Speaking of the aforementioned Plus Drift, check out their latest edition with the “Baroque Brown” Air Max Plus Drift.
