Oversized Netting Will Appear On The Air Jordan 4

The growing popular of the Air Jordan 4 leads to some interesting experiments.

Oversized Netting Will Appear On The Air Jordan 4

Jordan Brand has recognized the surge in popularity of the Air Jordan 4 in recent years. Their response? Give the beloved shoe some heavy modifications that will surely gather strong opinions from the community.

According to @zsneakerheadz, this Air Jordan 4 (which was revealed in the Jordan Holiday 2024 Preview) will feature oversized netting across the upper, expanding it from its customary positioning at the mid-foot window as depicted in the mock-up above. It will arrive as a women’s exclusive drop in a white, phantom and metallic gold colorway will have an MSRP of $210. This news comes off the heels of the first look of the Air Jordan 4 RM, itself a modified take on the 1989 model with some modern influence.

The demand for the Air Jordan 4 has grown considerably as general interest surrounding the Air Jordan 1 has gone in the opposite direction. Once the most toughest sneaker to purchase at retail, Air Jordan 1s are now a mainstay on store shelves, often times hitting the sales rack. Meanwhile, the Air Jordan 4 has proven to be a key generator of brand interest, so we suspect the Air Jordan 4 to expand laterally beyond standard Retro colorways into the realm of experimental projects.

If you prefer the OG look and feel of the AJ4, remember that the Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” is set to launch in late April.
