We’re amidst the tail end of the Spring 2024 season, Jordan Brand just revealed its Summer 2024 line-up, yet here we are, getting first looks at an upcoming 2024 Jordan release dropping in the Fall.
Appearing for the first time is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “First In Flight”, offered as a women’s exclusive release in a University Blue, Midnight Navy, and Sail formula, with touches of University Gold hitting the Wings logo on the ankle collar. While these may appear like a standard pair of Air Jordan 1s, there’s a “First In Flight” tab just under the tongue label and a custom logo on the insoles that allude to the flight thematic.
Based on the colorway, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “First In Flight” pays homage to the state of North Carolina, where the Wright Brothers completed the first-ever powered airplane flight in Kitty Hawk, NC.
