The adidas adiStar Raven 3 “Solar Orange” Returns In April

A vivid colorway meets elaborate construction.

The adidas adiStar Raven 3 “Solar Orange” Returns In April

As trail running trends bring maximalist designs back to the forefront of the industry, adidas is ensuring they don’t miss out on any of the action. The adidas adiStar Raven 3 first had their return tipped off at the end of 2023, with two original 2014 colorways leading the way. The announcement of the adidas adiStar Raven 3 “Glow Zone” this week checked one off, and the pair at hand checks off the other.

While the silver and black “Glow Zone” colorway instantly fits into the retro sensibilities of the runner market, the “Solar Orange” edition goes in a more unabashedly outdoorsy direction. The titular radioactive shade graces the midsole, plush sock liner and TPU overlays on their profile. Underneath, bright green mesh creates a ton of clashy contrast, and reveals a hi-vis sort of lean in their palette overall. The whole way through, the layered, hardware-laden construction continues to shine through, with a ton of depth and overlapping detail still front and center.

The adidas adiStar Raven 3 “Solar Orange” is set to debut on adidas.com next month, carrying a $120 retail price. You can find a full image gallery of the pair just ahead.

In other Three Stripes news, the adidas AE1 “Georgia Red Clay” from his “dunk of the year” poster drops April 4th.
