The ASICS GT-2160 “Putty” Drops In April

ASICS reliably hits the mark when it comes to contemporary design, partly because its tried and true applications work so well. Amidst a Y2K runner resurgence that shows no signs of slowing any time soon, a handful of ASICS models have risen to become some of today’s most favored daily drivers. While the GEL-Kayano 14 sits as the Japanese brand’s tentpole shoe, the GT-2160 presents as a viable alternative that communicates the same retro-futuristic design language.

Just as ASICS prepares a colorful GT-2160 collection for SS24, a new “White/Putty” pair adds to consumer’s plethora of choice surrounding the model. Reflective overlays and cream-like “Putty” accents define the look, two favored design cues that have helped fuel ASICS’ newfound popularity in recent years. A wide mesh base rests just underneath, and silver hits add a touch of contrast to the midsole to round out the look.

Pairs are currently marked as “Coming Coon” on the ASICS website, so interested parties should expect a release within the next few weeks as April presses on. Enjoy official images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for all the latest updates.
