Andrew Rizzo The latest adidas Gazelle Indoor trio might be the Three Stripes brand’s strongest entry when it comes to footwear centered around the 2024 Olympic Games. The collection hosts clear “Olympic” ties without doing too much, marrying Olympic iconography with on-theme palettes so as to produce a distinguishable theme with a familiar adidas Originals look and feel.
Separate black, blue, and red colorways make up the pack, a subtle nod to three of the five Olympic rings logo colors. Uniform elements include a multi-colored Olympic torch on the tongues, gum soles, and white pinstripes that run horizontally across the base of each shoe in a unique twist.
Material-wise, nylon hops on the base of all three looks, while the eyelet strips and toe caps present in leather and suede, respectively. In adding a bit more differentiation, the heel panels wear another color drawn from Olympic rings. The blue pair works in a splash of red, the black pair features a yellow heel, and the red pair livens up further with a green accent.
