The return to the "Big Swoosh" continues.

Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Phantom” Arrives In 2025

With the 2025 slate is already jam-packed with shoes sure to be ultra-competitive releases, it’s a nice change of pace to receive some info regarding a more low-key pair. While final product could end up hanging our understanding, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Phantom” is set for release as a part of the Jordan Brand 40th anniversary celebration.

The real piece of intrigue here is the continuation of the “Big Swoosh” branding that we first caught wind of with the Jordan 1 Low “Rust Pink.” While not an OG detail, its inclusion on Low releases in the mid 2010s was widely celebrated, and helped the shorter silhouette carve out its own lane amid a consistent slew of AJ1 releases.

A palette of “Phantom/Chile Red/Moon Particle/Black/Muslin/Coconut Milk” is the only other nugget confirmed by Sneaker Files at this stage, shaping this shoe up to lean into a tonal arrangement. As always, color-blocking details are just speculative at this point, so it’s possible this will be a more eye-catching pair upon final release.

Again, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Phantom” is expected sometime in 2025. Further colorway details and a more specific date are sure to arrive as we near this pair’s launch; keep it locked to our Jordan Release Dates page in the meantime.
