It’s been a good year for Air Max 1 fans. On top of the usual GR colorways, we’ve gotten a pretty steady stream of high-heat reissues and collabs, from the HUF Air Max 1 to the impending Jacquemus Air Max 1 collection. If you fell in love with the 1986 model on the back of more simplified looks, this one’s for you; a women’s exclusive AM1 is coming soon with a traditional blend of off-white and “Night Maroon.”

Slightly tinting the iconic “Sport Red” outfit, bright red turns down to the titular “Night Maroon” while the neutral grey quarter panel instead switches to sandy “Phantom.” Maintaining the classic white midsole & mesh up top means that the trademark color-blocking scheme remains intact, as does the traditional runner appeal of the Air Max 1 despite those pantone changes.

The Nike Air Max 1 “Night Maroon” drops this Fall in women’s sizing, retailing for $140 upon arrival.
