Reflective materials abound for this Fall release.

This Air Jordan 1 Mid “Black Patent” Doesn’t Settle For Bronze

Total medal counts might be nice in the aggregate, but any athlete, Olympian or not, know that anything less than #1 will never suffice. If you live that win-at-all costs mantra, this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid has your name on it, clad in black patent leather with metallic accents throughout.

The reflective synthetic material is applied in a heavy dose on this shoe setting the tone by taking over the topmost overlays and painting the heel cup. While the base underlays contrast with matte white leather, chrome hits throughout the collar and Swoosh only enhance an overall flashy atmosphere. Though this shoe doesn’t carry any official Olympic ties, given the inescapability of theme in recent weeks, it’s hard to not think of Paris when we spot the metallic gold accents on the Wings logo, making a stark impact in limited fashion.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Black Patent” arrives as a part of Nike’s Fall ’24 offerings, retailing for $135.
