With collaborations by Joe Freshgoods and Aimé Leon Dore under its belt, the New Balance 1000 has steered focus to general release colorways in the past few months. Recent pairs have delivered everything from flashy retro-inspired color combos to conservative, tonal looks, and consistent with what we’ve seen on models like the New Balance 1906R, the Boston brand isn’t shy to shake things up with fresh material and color blocking combos.

Official retailer images of this “Grey/Cream” pair just arrived alongside those of a “Green/Grey” pair of the same school, with both looks featuring suede mudguards and painted midsoles. The top half of the shoe makes use of cream colored leather to match the lining and tongue, while the base opts for grey diamond-patterned ripstop in alignment with its surrounding elements. Sizing is often a point of discussion on new/re-issued New Balance shoes, so if you’re considering copping your first pair of 1000s, know that most consumers recommend staying TTS.

Currently, the New Balance 1000 “Grey/Cream” is set to arrive September 2024 for $150.
