Kobe Bryant’s Nike Kobe 8 Protro TB (Team Bank) collection is confirmed to arrive on Nike.com on September 6th.
Throughout his playing days in the NBA, his post-career efforts in youth hoops and storytelling, and the post-death era in the 2020s, the Black Mamba continues to characterize the relentless pursuit of excellence. The legacy of the “Mamba Mentality” is what Kobe left behind for a generation of athletes and creatives who strive to continue to story that Kobe was tragically unable to finish.
It’s no surprise that Nike Kobe Protros are among the most-wanted sneakers by hoopers, so Nike is answering that call by bringing back the Team Bank color options for the Nike Kobe signature line — the first time since 2010s’ Kobe 5.
The Kobe 8 Protro will arrive soon in team-friendly colors of Navy/White, Red/White, and Grey/White, while two apparent Lakers-themed Home and Away configurations round out the quintet. Carrying the update Protro modifications, this Kobe 8 features React Foam drop-in soles, Engineered Mesh uppers, and the updated tongue design.
The entire set of Team Bank colorways is confirmed to arrive on Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers on September 6th, 2024 for $180 apiece for the Adult sizes.
