The Nike Shox R4 Borders An Original Colorway With “Psychic Blue” Accents

If there’s any one shoe that comes to mind at the mention of Nike Shox, it’s arguably the Shox R4 in its original “Metallic Silver” colorway. It’s the shoe that kicked off retro runs for the model in 2018 and 2024, still setting the blueprint for new releases with its dual-tone upper and tasteful red accents.

For Spring 2025, Nike is releasing a handful of Shox R4s that bring different accent colors to the original blocking scheme. We previewed a “Bright Mandarin” colorway just a few days ago, and we’re now hit with official retailer images of an upcoming “Psychic Blue” edition. The titular hue dots the Shox pillars and TPU elements on the tongue and heel, leaving the rest of the design to a familiar mix of black and “Metallic Silver.”

The Shox R4 “Psychic Blue” is due out during the Spring 2025 shopping season, commanding the usual $150 MSRP. See official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse other upcoming Nike shoes.
