The Nike Air Force 1 Wild Embraces More ACG Flavor

The formula for Air Force 1 Wild colorways has been the same since the model’s inception; borrow from Nike ACG. Designs featuring bright pops of color against earth-toned backdrops land naturally on the outdoor-minded AF1 retooling, and while the spinoff model hasn’t necessarily been embraced by ACG fans as Nike may have hoped, it appears more heritage-inspired colorways are en route for 2025.

This “Flax” colorways marks the first new AF1 Wild we’ve seen in about eight months, taken with “Teal Charge” on the extended tongue and added interior padding. Rugged mesh on the toe box, quarter, and backtab kick off a slew of tooling changes, including rope laces and loop eyelets for a clear trail shoe edge. Altered suede overlays take the titular “Flax” hue, while the tongue, backtab, and lining all come in “Red Sepia.” A variety of stitched detailing appears on both the lateral and medial sides, and underfoot, a checkerboard midsole introduces a bit of Air Humara DNA. Underfoot, the altered sole is complete with abstract, wavy tread featuring soft pink on the interior portion.

The Air Force 1 Wild “Flax/Red Sepia/Teal Charge/Black” is due out Spring 2025 in women’s sizing, carrying the usual $145 retail price. See official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview other upcoming Nike shoes.
