...but hunting aesthetics are reportedly still intact.

Don’t Expect Any Realtree Camo On The Air Jordan 3 “Medium Olive”

While we already know many of the biggest 2025 Jordan Release Dates, as a multi-billion dollar business, the Jumpman is sprinkling plenty of non-OG or otherwise more lowkey drops in between flashier or coveted ones. A pair we recently covered has seemingly jumped from one group to the other, with the “Realtree” edition now emerging as the Air Jordan 3 “Medium Olive.”

Originally reported as the Air Jordan 3 “Realtree,” instead the shoe now projects as the “Family Affair” edition, with the colorway pretty drastically changed in the process. Though the hunting concept shared in the initial news is intact, it’s an abstract interpretation of the camouflage pattern, ripping a slew of earthy tones rather than faithfully adapting the trademark print.

More plainly, the “Family Affair” in question is hunting, not one of His Airness’ foremost off-court hobbies but one shared by his close family members and inner circles in his rural North Carolina upbringing. Again, especially given the quick flip on what to expect on this shoe, regard this info tentative until further notice — at this stage, this Air Jordan 3 carrying a palette of “Medium Olive/Sequoia/Neutral Olive/Sail/Total Crimson” is all we can truly expect.

The Air Jordan 3 “Medium Olive” is now set for October 25th, 2025, with a Holiday 2025 window locked in. Check out the updated mock-up shot above but note that it is entirely speculative in nature, and shouldn’t be expected to reflect final product.
