When will the Air Jordan 4 come off its perch as the most coveted retro model? If the Jumpman’s release plans for this year are any indication, it’s not any time soon — we’ll be treated to a full range of novel looks for the shoe alongside some of its most coveted (the Jordan 4 “White Cement” and Jordan 4 “Black Cat” chief among them). However, if battling for those highly-anticipated drops isn’t your speed, perhaps something a bit more low-key might be, something the reported Air Jordan 4 “Cozy Girl” will likely represent.
A shoe that initially hit the newswire as the Jordan 4 “Hemp,” the “Cozy Girl” edition is now expected to come with an all-over treatment of hairy suede, a detail that makes its comforting title easy to parse. Alongside, a tonal treatment of “Hemp/Light Orewood Brown” is confirmed. While we’ll have to wait to see exact how that’s applied (mock-up images featured here are speculative in nature), delivering this shoe with a snowed-in look would match both its November release window and its overriding themes.
Even amid a modern renaissance, this shows that the Air Jordan 4 isn’t exempted from these sort of big swings. In fact, its beloved status has seemingly made the shoe more likely to appear in this sort of modified fashion. Look back on 2024’s Jordan 4 “Net” for a recent example, but a run of Flyknit colorways in 2019, a “Winterized” makeup that same year or premium pairs like the “Obsidian” in 2016.
As of writing, the Air Jordan 4 “Cozy Girl” is reported with a November 1st release date, coming exclusively in women’s sizing. Keep our JOrdan Releases 2025 landing page handy to be the first to know when we get further info on this shoe.
