Hairy Leopard Print Prowls On The Nike Air Force 1

Hairy Leopard Print Prowls On The Nike Air Force 1

Animal prints are making a raging comeback on sneakers. Earlier this year, the adidas Samba had a viral moment with its Wales Bonner-esque proposition highlighted by the big cat motif; now Nike is delivering its own Retro classic draped in the spotted print.

Expected to launch this Summer 2025 season, this Nike Air Force 1 Low harkens back to the days of 21 Mercer’s Bespoke Air Force 1 program. It was during this period that the AF1 was brought to light in highly luxurious form with what seemed like an endless array of design options.

Now, exotic prints on hairy uppers are far more common, largely due to the growing influence of athletic sportswear in mainstream fashion. This pair is truly for the fans of the feline textile, because Nike goes full toe to heel in leopard with white leather hits on the Swoosh logo and heel. Gum bottoms inject the classic sports look that has become synonymous with the Uptown’s chief aesthetic.

This Air Force 1 “Leopard” is likely arriving in the second quarter of 2025 for $135; stay tuned for firmer updates, official images, and more.
