The Nike Air Max 1 Clutches “Soft Pearl” And “Smokey Blue”

The bulk of this year’s energy for Air Max Day is centered around the Air Max 95 and two newer faces, the Air Max Dn and Air Max DN8. However, with a handful of special makeups, the Air Max 1 has become an unexpected entrant into that crowd. While those “Low Poly” pairs continue to command heavy attention, mainline editions offer the shoe’s indelible history on a more subterranean level, like the “Smokey Blue” Air Max 1 at hand.

Palette flips on the original “Sport Red” and “Sport Blue” are about par for the course when it comes to the Air Max 1, so it comes as no surprise that the Swoosh continue to tap into that formula as the product line’s relevancy hits its yearly peak. Shifting to a leather mudguard marks a slight divergence from that original composition, but the typical mix of whites and greys throughout the rest of the profile maintains that OG-minded atmosphere.

As mentioned in our sub-head, the Nike Air Max 1 “Smokey Blue” is available now via NDC, up for grabs in men’s sizing with a $140 price tag. Hit the links ahead within our “Where To Buy” widget to grab yours, or simply enjoy the suite of official images included below it.
