The Nike Air Force 1 SK8 Emerges In “White/Black”… Or Does It?

Reports of a Swoosh crossover may have been greatly exaggerated.

The Nike Air Force 1 SK8 Emerges In “White/Black”… Or Does It?

Spurred by the success of the initial Air Jordan 4 SB, a deluge of leaks towards the end of 2024 tipped off that Beaverton would be revisiting the same concept across many of their staple silhouettes. As we stare down the Summer 2025 portion of the calendar, many of them are becoming a reality: the Air Jordan 4 SB “Navy” is already in consumer’s hands, we’ve gotten first looks at the Nike SB Air Max 95, and the reported Air Force 1 SK8 is beginning to trickle out to retailers. There’s only one issue — the AF1 may not be a skate shoe after all.

Though SKUs and color codes line up with initial reports of a skate Air Force 1, there appears to be no noticeable material changes from mainline editions. Furthering the idea that these are indeed just regular Uptowns is the fact that the purported Black/Gum edition has already surfaced on NDC without any mention of a special build.

Thus, with official images of the Air Force 1 “White/Black” now surfacing, it’s almost certain that these are simply an inline edition. Where the info got lost in translation is unknown, as is whether the crossover edition is actually still on the docket. Regardless, the standard color-blocking and ever-appealing greyscale combination makes these a sensible pair to build out the rotation even if they aren’t build for the skate park.

Expect the Nike Air Force 1 “White/Black” to hit retailers in the coming weeks, retailing for $125 once it lands. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page for additional updates as they come, or simply enjoy the suite of official images included below.
