“Light Crimson” Interrupts This All-White Nike Air Max 90

A just-adjacent spin on timeless aesthetics.

“Light Crimson” Interrupts This All-White Nike Air Max 90

Increased focus elsewhere in the product line, from retro propositions like the Air Max 95 to new ones like the Air Max Muse, has inherently moved the spotlight off of reliable silhouettes like the Nike Air Max 90. Neither offering up novel offshoots nor redefining its classic hardware, Tinker Hatfield’s steadfast invention nonetheless still can’t be knocked off its perch as one of the Swoosh’s most cherished designs. As a result, fans should have plenty of options to fill out their rotation this Summer, including the Nike Air Max 90 “White/Light Crimson” on tap.

The promise in our title is indeed borne out in practice, relying on the “Triple White” equation that’s been a staple of summer footwear for generations. Flares of fire red on the Nike logos affixed to the tongue, heel, and on the insole provide the only disturbance to that snowed-in arrangement, save for the tinted Air bubble that sits below the heel. All told, it’s only a slight deviation from a colorway that’s almost always available anytime the Air Max 90 in general is, but maybe that modest differentiation is convincing enough to slot these into your warm weather wardrobe.

Expect the Nike Air Max 90 “Light Crimson” to drop as a part of Nike’s continuing Summer/Fall slate, commanding a $130 retail price upon arrival. If this edition has particularly caught your eye, keep watch for more updates via our Sneaker Release Dates hub. Otherwise, treat yourself to an advance look via the official Nike images ahead.
