The Nike Dunk Low Heads Back To “Kentucky”

Releasing Summer 2025.

The Nike Dunk Low Heads Back To “Kentucky”

The Nike Dunk Low has unquestionably been one of the most prominent sneakers of the past five years. While demand has certainly thinned since its modern heyday, beat up “Panda” Dunks and other essential colorways are still as common as they come. Now ringing in its 40th anniversary, the Dunk Low is remembering its modern rebirth with another “Kentucky” colorway.

In early 2020, right around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nike began a new era for the Dunk Low with a “Be True To Your School” colorway run. The first two of the bunch: “Syracuse” and “Kentucky” Nike Dunk Lows. The former came back in late 2024, while the latter, seen here via official images, is primed for a Summer 2025 return to shelves. It’s got the same core “White/Royal” blocking as the 2020 edition, differing with added blue hits on the lining, tongue piping, and tongue tag.

The 2020 release hovered around $500 on resale sites until a 2022 restock crashed asking prices, but the 2025 “Kentucky” Dunks shouldn’t be a difficult cop. Expect men’s sizes to release shortly via nike.com and retailers for $115. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
