The Size? x adidas “City Series” Continues With A Trip To Liverpool

Following trips to Shanghai and Dublin, British retailer Size? is bringing its latest adidas “City Series” home with an eclectic ode to Liverpool.

Limited to just 2,025 pairs for the sneaker chain’s 25th anniversary, the upper features green leather stripes atop an attention-grabbing orange suede base. The design pulls from multiple references, including the appearance of Triton and Neptune in the coat of arms of Liverpool. Perhaps more notably, the orange/green colorway ties in with the bathrooms (or “loos”) at Liverpools’s legendary Philharmonic pub; a historic landmark built in the 19th century and visited by the likes of The Beatles. The silhouette borders that of the adidas Tobacco, taken with a low collar, textured tongue, and slim brown gum sole. Just like the adidas Shanghai and Dublin, the sneaker features custom 25th anniversary insoles and gold “1/2,025” numbering along the spine.

If you’re going for a pair, size?launches is holding its draw between May 25th and May 30th. Moreover, the Size? Liverpool store will be hosting an exclusive in-store launch on May 24th (starting at 8:00 AM local time). The sneaker retails for £110 and will be available in men’s and women’s sizes.
