Sneaker News The fact that the LeBron Witness series, a secondary signature shoe line, is longer than the primary line of other superstar athletes speaks volumes. Soon enough, this line will reach a tenth edition, but let’s not get too ahead of ourselves because the Nike LeBron Witness 9 needs to hit retail first.
A first look of the LeBron Witness 9 has been revealed via Nike official images. Currently, just Grade School/Big Kids and Pre School/Little Kids sizes have appeared, but rest assured that these are dropping in full adult sizes, too.
Known for its simplistic and lower-tech designs to validate the more approachable price-point, the LeBron Witness 9 arrives in another mid-cut silhouette. With previous iterations utilizing Air Max cushioning at the heel, it is likely that the Witness 9 follows that set-up despite not showing the bubble visible. Instead, the cushion placement is noted by the crown-shaped piece beneath the heels.
The boldly sculpted upper and Swoosh placement should draw comparisons to the design of the Zoom Huarache 2K4, although there is no apparent connection between the two.
MSRP info hasn’t been revealed, but it’s likely that Nike will price these around the LeBron Witness 8‘s tag, which is $110 for adults. The pricing for the kids will likely be around $80-90 given the last known Witness model in kids sizes (the 7) was $87.
