Basketcase Leads The New Balance 204L Charge With A Collaboration For Paris Fashion Week

The New Balance 204L is ready to break through this Fall 2025, and California-based Basketcase has been tapped to lead the charge with an expertly executed collaboration. Set to debut at Paris Fashion Week, this reworked silhouette will serve as a preview of an upcoming retail launch of a second colorway.

Basketcase stays loyal to the NB heritage by sticking with a stately all-grey colorway, but a closer inspection reveals luxurious pony hair overlays against premium nubucks in monochromatic grey. Lace options in a clean white and standout pink are included stock, while Basketcase’s insignia is featured on the tongue and inner sockliner; the shoes will be packaged inside a custom co-branded shoebox.

With Fashion Week in Paris serving as a grand stage, Basketcase will take over a storied venue in the Le Marais district with an immersive classroom-inspired setting; this experiential activation is designed to help event-goers explore the age of adolescence. Pairs will be distributed exclusively to Friends & Family and will not be available for public purchase for the time being; instead, Basketcase promises a second colorway launching later this year. Stay tuned for further details as this collaboration continues to unfold.
