The Oversized adidas Jellyfish Floats A “Royal Blue” Colorway

Another reliable tech runner color combo.

The Oversized adidas Jellyfish Floats A “Royal Blue” Colorway

Simply put, it seems like Pharrell Williams doesn’t have the same 24 hours the rest of us do. The long-time multi-hyphenate has remained a familiar face in the headlines for both our purposes and in general, solely producing the upcoming Clipse LP and currently amid another Paris Fashion Week as the creative director of Louis Vuitton.

Despite those musical and luxury house responsibilities, he’s still found time to chip away with his role at adidas simultaneously. After calling upon the Virginia siblings to debut a new colorway of the adidas Jellyfish, PFW now brings us another in blue. Though additional angles could reveal further distinctions, at first blush this does appear to be a simple palette swap of the original orange, obviously imbuing the oceanic shade through the extended TPU detailing at the core of the silhouette.

Sizing up the construction of the adidas adistar Cushion and recieving such a buzzy public response in return, more than anything, speaks to the often contradictory tenets at the heart of sneakers. At the same time that audiences cheer for the ultra-maximalist Jellyfish, they’re giving flowers to the same company for their work in the low-pro movement via shoes like the adidas Taekwondo. Squaring away that philosophical disagreement is a topic for another day — the adidas Jellyfish as a whole is still expected to touch down for Spring/Summer 2026 with a $300 sticker price. This white and blue edition is likely one of the considerations for the model’s early run.
