Balenciaga And PUMA Just Launched A Massive Collection

Since making its earnest return last summer, the PUMA Speedcat has been largely anointed the next “it shoe” following the adidas Samba. It’s a hit among women and a key reason why slim-soled sneakers are still thriving across the board, even spawning new lifestyle models from competitors like the Nike Astra Ultra. As Speedcat mania remains high as we dive further into summer, the model just checked off its biggest collaboration to date; a whopping fifteen pair capsule by Balenciaga.

Released alongside an extensive apparel lineup, the Balenciaga PUMA Speedcats take on three different profiles. First and foremost is a distressed suede style featuring a chewed-off Formstrip; an on-brand yet more low-key interpretation of the tattered aesthetic we see time and again on Balenciaga sneakers/clothing. Then come black and white leather colorways featuring gusseted tongues and no laces, evoking a trendy look seen notably on the adidas Taekwondo. Rounding out the delivery, the luxury house has come out with four Speedcat ballerina shoes in pink, blue, black, and black/white.

The entire Balenciaga PUMA Speedcat lineup is available NOW through balenciaga.com; the distressed suede and leather styles clock in at $685, while the ballerina version commands a $545 price tag. See official images of all fifteen sneakers below if you’re considering copping.
