Matt Varga The New Balance 1906R has quite handily reached breakout status, easily identifiable by both sneakerheads and the wider populace. Though it has now shifted away from any splashy collaborations and instead placed focus on inline formulations, that category is still plenty able to mark eye-catching editions.
A fresh quartet of staid shaded pairs accomplishes that with some subtle tweaks. Four new pairs are joined by woven ribbon cutting across their profiles, slicing the usual synthetic thread with racing stripe-like grey down its center. The exact coloring differs between each “Woven N” formulation of the New Balance 1906R, swapping from all-black to olive to two grey-dominant pairs. Yet the color-blocking on display does well to unite them further, pairing contrast shades on the checkered heel cage and midsole in breaking from all-over coloring on the upper.
All four pairs within the New Balance 1906R “Woven N” pack should make landfall during the Fall 2025 shopping season, somewhere between July and September. The usual $155 retail price is expected for each.
