Sneaker News The month of August is here, signaling the mid-point of the summer break and the start of the Back To School shopping season. It’s important to round out that perfect shoe rotation for the first week of school, and the Jumpman is ready to deliver because there are some true gems that are not only good for flexing in the hallways, but are also worthy of the “Sneaker Of The Year” talk.
Not much else needs t be said about the UNDEFEATED Air Jordan 4. But it’s not a total failure if you miss out on that highly coveted item because there are some strong Retro gems sprinkled throughout the next 4+ weeks. The Air Jordan 10 “Steel” might be the sleeper hit of the year, the French Blue 12s throws back to the 2000s era, and there’s even a pizza-themed kids-exclusive AJ4 that’ll have adults throwing tantrums.
Also worth pointing out is the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5; although the brand has not yet confirmed the dates, it is expected that both pairs are dropping this month.

Kicking off the month of August drops is the Air Jordan 4. It’s not the women’s exclusive denim pair nor is it UNDEFEATED’s monumental bring-back of their colossal Air Jordan 4. It’s the Pizza-themed pair made exclusively for kids, served hot and fresh on August 1st at Jordan retailers nationwide.

Air Jordan 10 “Steel” – August 2nd
Perhaps the sleeper hit of August is the Air Jordan 10 “Steel”. An original colorway from way back in 1995, the Steel 10s return in its original colorway and the controversial toe-cap detail that Michael Jordan initially asked to be removed. This release isn’t just for the core enthusiasts either, because the Air Jordan 10 “Steel” will be available at Jordan retailers everywhere in adult and GS sizes.

Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” – August 16th
