There’s been no shortage of fresh faces in the New Balance catalog this year, and while the New Balance 204L has become one of the trendier picks of that group, we’re still laser-focused on the New Balance 2010. Showcasing the brand’s patented ABZORB cushioning in equal yet distinct fashion to its techier cousin, the New Balance 2000, a “Black Cement” colorway is due out on August 20th.
Knowingly offering up the 99x design language that’s led to the brand’s current cult following, the 2010 sports a similar package of suede overlays and mesh underpinnings to the earnest 990 series and similar offerings. The oval-shaped, almost parenthetical overlays that bracket the N branding mark the biggest defining factor, but a wavy, cut-out strip towards the toe further distinguishes this shoe. For the colorway at hand, the shoe approaches a twilight “Triple Black,” only slightly diverging with a dark grey heel unit and paired curvilinear underlays up top.
Again, the New Balance ABZORB 2010 “Black Cement” hits NewBalance.com and retailers on August 20th, commanding a $160 retail price. Catch official images below and keep our “Where To Buy” section within reach for direct pick-up links upon arrival.
