When it comes to media franchises in the US, it really is hard to get bigger than the NFL. As we prepare for Sunday football to monopolize television screens this year, Crocs is getting in on the action. The two have just entered a multi-year licensing agreement and announced the first tangible wave of products, as fourteen distinct Classic Clog styles herald the first wave of Crocs x NFL.
As we seemingly note everytime Crocs nabs a new partner, the brand’s rolodex is as vast as it is eclectic, yet the aforementioned ubiquity of the Shield makes this arguably their most significant yet. While they promise that all 32 teams will eventually be represented through both footwear and accessories, just under half the league makes the cut in this first wave: the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills, Las Vegas Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, and Denver Broncos.

Though simply pinning team branding on the Classic Clog and calling it a day would’ve been perfectly acceptable, some of these designs are genuinely wild. See photorealistic tiger stripes on the Bengals variation, a furry claw protruding from the toe of the Bears’, or alternating horn straps on the Texans’. Interestingly, all of the cold weather markets here imbue their teams’ colorways with a fur lining, ensuring season-long wearability.
Crocs promises that all 32 teams will eventually be represented by the time the 2025 NFL season draws to a close. While no concrete date for this first wave has been set just yet, expect a debut during the regular season. Select retails have September 18th circled for some sort of Crocs x NFL drop, but what exactly will come on that date is unclear. While we await more info, check out individual shots ofa ll the revealed colorways so far, and keep the Crocs new arrivals page handy for when this capsule goes live.
