While recent hybrid Jordans like the Spiz’ike Low and Jordan 4 RM have been well received, the Jordan 2/3, first seen around the same time as those two silhouettes, hasn’t measured up in terms of quantity or consumer interest. Only four colorways have released in 2025 as of this writing, all of which have gone on sale and can now be copped for under retail on aftermarket sites. Had it hit shelves, this newly-uncovered “Knicks” sample originally planned for Spring might be considered the strongest of the bunch.
The model’s low-top Jordan 2 upper here features a white leather base, blue lining, and orange hits on the heel/quarter piping. Underfoot, the Jordan 3 sole appears in “Sail” with a blue streak over the heel. Given how Michael Jordan tormented the Knicks in the ’90s, there’s a tremendous amount of irony in Knicks-colored Jordan releases. In fact, many older New Yorkers won’t even wear Jordans for that reason (you’ll find them in Ewings instead). With that being said, any Knicks-colored hoops shoe is bound to draw eyes in the basketball capital of the world.
It remains to be see if the Jordan 2/3 “Knicks” will release, but for what it’s worth, @donniebsoles notes that the sneaker was originally planned for Spring 2025. Stay tuned for any and all future updates, including official images if/when they emerge.
