Aimé Leon Dore Teases Their New Balance 991 Collaboration For Fall 2025

Teddy Santis has his hands full managing New Balance’s “Made In USA” line, but it appears he’s still got time for a trip across the pond. The “Made In UK” New Balance 991 here makes a cameo in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 lookbook, taken in a brown and red colorway that fits well into the larger ALD seasonal collection.

Yes, you read that right. The is the original 991 silhouette, the same one Teddy and co. released in two colorways back in 2022. New Balance’s focus shifted exclusively to the 991v2 shortly after its debut in late 2023, which makes this reversion surprising to say the least. While almost aesthetically identical, the former cut features a slightly higher heel-to-toe drop.

Unveiled here in ALD’s Fall/Winter 2025 lookbook, the next ALD New Balance 991 features an off-white mesh base, red leather underlays, and brown suede overlays. We’re getting some “Bison” Nike SB Dunk vibes, which is a fitting reference given the shoe appears alongside a western-inspired ALD overcoat.

No release info for the ALD New Balance 991 has been revealed, but we’ll go live with another update as soon as that changes. For now, enjoy lookbook images below.
