Nike’s WHQ is completely ensconsced in a breathtaking network of challenging trails. It’s why they’ve obsessed over outdoor racing for decades, with the brand’s All Conditions Gear category committed to creating products built for optimal performance on anything but flat ground. The evolution continues with the All Conditions Racing Department; this new venture is focused on creating optimal trail performance gear, with an elite roster of 22 global athletes tasked with getting dirty.
One such piece of footwear that has been through the testing gauntlet is the upcoming ACG Ultrafly. Sneaker News reported on the shoe months ago when Caleb Olsen, a Nike athlete and ultramarathoner that regularly wear-tests product in the wild, was spotted in a trail running shoe bearing ACG branding. According to Nike, this model had undergone thirteen rounds of testing with over 30,000 miles of running around the world.

All Conditions Racing Department also played a pivotal role in the development of Nike Radical AirFlow, a ground-breaking material designed for cooling during hot race days. Both the ACG Ultrafly trail running shoe and the Radical AirFlow gear exemplify the brand’s history of partnering with athletes to create practical and effective gear.
There’s more to come from Nike’s All Conditions Racing Department, so stay tuned.
