Dime And Vans Unveil The Skate Era Stub

Dime and Vans have a rich collaborative history together, but their latest link-up pushes their partnership into new territory. While the Montreal imprint has taken to the California company’s stable of venerated skate shoes plenty, they’ve never been tapped for a debut, something that’s about to change as the Dime x Vans Skate Era Stub comes into view.

Especially through the recent work of the Vans OTW label, we’ve seen archival models get a fresh coat of paint plenty throughout 2025 (the Low Pro, the Old Skool 36 FM, etc). By contrast, the Skate Era Stub may not be as transformative at first glance, knowingly only adding additional lace stays and a shorter toe as a result. Skate performance is ensured on three fronts; SickStick rubber delivers an upgrade on the shoe’s grip, PopCush insoles bring superior impact absorption, and Duracap reinforcement allows the shoe to hold up longer.

For this debut, two tonal looks drape the Dime x Vans Skate Era Stub. One approaches all-white before breaking up that comprehensive palette with blue and white stripes in the midsole, while an earthier counterpart gets even closer to a flooded-out look, bracketing all-tan uppers with a darker gum sole. The Dime x Vans Skate Era Stub releases on August 30th via Dime channels, at the brands’ Glory Challenge in Montreal, and at select Vans Skateboarding accounts.
