And so it begins… As our regular readers should recall, Jordan Brand dominated our coverage of last year’s college football season with a lineup of “First Class” Jordan 4 PEs for all its sponsored programs, raising the bar for what’s expected of coordinated college PE deliveries. With the 2025-26 campaign now underway, we’re starting get an understanding of what’s next.
The Florida Gators’ football program has unveiled two cleats; a Jordan 4 and low-top Jordan 1. The models and color blocking are identical to that of a pack shared by UNC football just a few weeks ago, strongly suggesting that this is a blueprint that will be replicated for the several other Jordan-sponsored schools over the coming weeks/months.
The Jordan 4 “Gators” cleat features a blue base, white netting, and orange hits on the eyestays, heel, and lining. The Jordan 1 cleat comes with blue overlays featuring a subtle elephant print finish, complemented by a white leather base and orange on the Swoosh and outsole.
To reiterate; both “Gators” Air Jordan cleats are PEs and will not see a public release. Our Jordan Release Dates page contains several key upcoming drops, including the Jordan 4 “Cave Stone” arriving at the top of September.
