Susan Fang’s First Nike Collaboration Have The Women Going Crazy

With innovative knitwear and dresses rooted in nature, Chinese-Canadian designer Susan Fang has become one of the most promising up-and-coming figures in fashion. That promise has been acknowledged by names like Forbes, Business of Fashion, and for our purposes, Nike, which has supported her runway shows by providing footwear since 2023. The Beaverton brand’s continued endorsement culminates in the headline we have before us today, with the first Susan Fang x Nike collection set to release in the very near future.

Two sneakers make up the inaugural Susan Fang x Nike drop; the quintessential Dunk Low and uptrending Nike V2K Run. Both models come with a slew of chic embellishments, including Swoosh logos crafted from pearls, ribbon laces, and floral accents attached by buttons. Fang applies a soft baby blue colorway to each sneaker, with the V2K Run featuring mesh and Dunk featuring a patterned silk base layer.

With respect to each designer’s individuality, there’s a clear comparison to be made to Cecilie Bahnsen’s ASICS collaborations. Both womenswear designers are unapologetic champions of feminine footwear aesthetics, and given the established success of Bahnsen’s collabs, there’s no reason to think Fang’s Nikes wont fly off shelves as well.

The Susan Fang x Nike collection drops globally on September 12th, priced at $180 for the V2K Run and $170 for the Dunk. See official images of both sneakers below if you’re considering copping.
