Pulling off a genuine coup in the F1 world by poaching Mercedes AMG from rival PUMA, adidas has been hell bent on making the most of having one of the premier motorsport brands under their umbrella in the time since. To date, we’ve seen the outfit hit some of the Three Stripes’ most vaunted silhouettes and even join hands with other collaborators, proof of the high importance the German giant places on their high octane stamp.
Previous one-off editions have been plenty notable on their own merits, but adidas and Mercedes AMG now unite for their most sprawling campaign to date, announced with a barrage of sleek, nocturnal imagery capturing the adiZero family. On a conceptual level, bringing the motorsport unit to that vertical is only fitting, a strength-on-strength (or speed-on-speed, truly) piece of synergy that capitalizes on the striking Mercedes red and black livery.




Indeed, black foundations, checkered red Three Stripes detailing, and a variety of AMG co-brand hits unit the full range. Functionally, these 6 shoes are split into two halves: a marathon arm comprised of the adiZero Prime X3 Strung, adiZero adios Pro 4, and adiZero EVO SL, and track spikes comprised of the adiZero Ambition, adiZero Avanti Tyo, and adiZero Prime SP 4.
While official adidas running copy promises that the collection is available now, at the time of this writing that only entirely holds true on the brand’s EU sites.
