Action Bronson’s “Rosewater” New Balance 1906R introduced us to a no-sew style that’s since become a key part of the model’s general release catalog (despite not carrying its own letter identifier). Following a sprinkling of releases in late 2024, it appears the no-sew is poised to make a more sincere rollout during the autumn months this year. Hot on the heels of an “Orange Crimson” colorway is this newly-uncovered “Olive” look; a fitting addition to an autumn-appropriate mini pack.
To the uninitiated; the no-sew 1906R takes after Salomon shoes with a sleek synthetic upper featuring reinforced areas in place of traditional overlays. Pull laces add to the model’s outdoorsy trail runner aesthetic, not that this “Olive” colorway needs much help in that regard. The upper juggles a smattering of different khaki shades, while a dark green color appears notable on the heel counter, N-lock logo, and outsole. Otherwise, black hits on the lining and midsole round out the delivery.
The New Balance 1906R No-Sew “Olive” releases Fall/Winter 2025 for $155; see official images below if these might contend for a spot in your autumn rotation.
