The Nike Killshot 2 Tiempo Cryptically Features More Morse Code

Take it from every A-list brand in the industry: the soccer craze won’t be drying up anytime soon. The indoor soccer moment has since grown into a bonafide titan in the space, and Nike has gotten creative with their catalog to pay its respects, bringing the extended tongue most readily associated with its Tiempo series to a variety of lifestyle staples.

The Nike Killshot 2, for its simple construction and at-the-ready stylability, has been a sturdy attendant of that concept, no doubt sharing similarities to competitor silhouettes. As always, you can’t count out the Swoosh’s ability to get creative in setting their offerings apart, seen with a refined leather overhaul of this hybrid sneaker, bolstered with raw panel edges, deep tan laces, and a dark gum sole underfoot.

Of course, as you already know from our headline, the central piece of intrigue comes on the footbed, where a line of morse code sits without much further explanation. Already seen on the Cortez, it’ll likely take until either style hits Nike.com to get an earnest explanation. However,  a “-. .. -.- .” scheme would translate to “NIKE,” and though the spacing on the insoles makes this a bit of a hazy translation, it lines up well enough to likely indicate that this is the story at play.

Expect the Nike Killshot 2 Tiempo “Morse Code” to materialize sometime in the coming weeks along with the aforementioned Cortez. Just like its predecessor, a premium on typical MSRP is likely.
