Season 23 is upon us, and Nike has unleashed the Nike LeBron 23 signature shoe, promising a matching number of story-driven concepts behind each of the confirmed release. Of the three that were unveiled, the “Miami Twice” hits on LeBron’s peak achievements during his villain era with the Miami Heat. Let’s explore.
With twenty-two seasons under his belt and number twenty-three ready to launch, the amount of tall tales and obscure stories surrounding LeBron’s career are truly endless. It was a task in itself to whittle it down to 23, but one shoo-in was the epic Miami era of the King’s career. As you remember, in the summer of 2010, LeBron James–the most sought after free agent in NBA history–chose to leave Cleveland and take his talents to South Beach (his words). In four seasons, he secured his first-ever NBA Championship, following it up with a back-to-back ring that ultimately cemented him as one of the greatest winners of the game.
The Nike LeBron 23 “Miami Twice” recalls that epic two-season run in which the King may have been at his very best. Drawing in the ever-popular pairing of pink and Smokey Blue teal, this “South Beach” affair features a hot Lightening yellow and vibrant Total Orange tongue while the reverse Swoosh from the Nike LeBron X appears at the heel. Specifically, the logo is taken from the LeBron X “Crown Jewel” that dropped in the Fall of 2012. Below, we have a detailed look via Chinese media outlet Kenlu.net.

For the Nike LeBron 23, Nike will offer twenty different releases, each from a specific era of LeBron’s career. This one falls during the “Taking The Throne” era from 2010-2018, evidently marking the period of LeBron’s ascension with the hardware to back up those claims. Each and every release will come in the custom shoe-box that includes a booklet detailing all 23 pairs as well as a charm that matches the heel accessory.
The Nike LeBron 23 “Miami Twice” is expected to launch on October 9th, 2025 for $210; Grade School sizes are also expected to release for $160. The global launch of the LeBron 23 is on September 25th in the gold “Uncharted” colorway in China, followed by an October 3rd release.
