Sneaker News Nike just dropped some breadcrumbs, big and small, in their latest SNKRS Special segment focused on women’s Spring 2026 footwear. Expectedly, all of the revealed footwear are lifestyle execution of athletics models from the past such as the Air Superfly, Shox Magia, and the Air Rift; our attention immediately went to the Rejuven8. Let’s explore.
The Nike Rejuven8 originally dropped back in 2008 around the Beijing Olympics. The shoe is truly an amalgam of other quirky silhouettes that preceded it, namely the Air Presto, Air Kukini, and trypophobia-triggering Zvezdochka. Featuring a webbed outer shell over a mesh interior, the Rejuven8 was designed to be a recovery sneaker for athletes in between competition as it was very breathable and easy to wear via the Free-like grooved bottoms.
The Rejuven8 is still a relevant term today thanks to Nike’s other recovery-focused footwear item–the ReactX Rejuven8. Both serve comparable purposes, although the Rejuven8 appears more like a running shoe than the clog-like model of the current day.
Nike is officially calling the model the Nike Rejuven8 Run OG SP QS (the latter notations detailing its original and limited-edition nature). To us, it’s simply the Nike Rejuven8, and it’s coming back next Spring in women’s sizing.
