In case this is your first run-in with the Stan Smith Freizit, the classic tennis shoe pulls in a new sole unit, replete with rubber lugs for hardier applications. Obviously the base Stan Smith composition aims at the lifestyle lane, while the Freizit offshoot is officially intended for all environments wear, positioned as adidas as a fit for “city streets or natural trails.” This all black leather edition means the model can simultaneously break into a tertiary lane, tooled for a hike at 10, brunch at 1, and a wedding reception at 4. And it’s not just the glossy leather exteriors that bring that atmosphere to the table; natural leather linings demonstrate how adidas goes an extra step in creating this true “all occassions” pair.
