A total of 29 active players once called Rupp Arena home, including three signature athletes in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Devin Booker, and for our purposes, De’Aaron Fox. The San Antonio Spurs guard debuted his second sneaker with Under Armour’s Curry Brand the other month, and now the Curry Fox 2 era continues with an inspired ode to “Lexington.”
De’Aaron’s first Curry Brand model released in a likeminded “Lexington” colorway for March Madness earlier this year, which is telling about just how fast his second sneaker arrived. While that release arrived in monochrome Kentucky blue, the Fox 2 here incorporates black hits on the lining, lace strap, and midsole. White paint splatter on the tail-inspired midsole adds some intrigue, complemented by blue/white laces. De’Aaron’s signature Curry Brand logo appears on the center of the strap on the Fox 2, while Steph’s imprint lives on the lateral side of the heel.
